Sushi by Scratch Restaurants is seeking a Bartender who is creative, outgoing, professional, engaging, and willing to learn. Scratch Restaurants are not your traditional restaurant environments, we are a unique fine dining restaurant group, with 10 guests at a time, providing an intimate experience and enjoying some of the best sushi and sake that money can buy!
The ideal candidate will be able to execute a high-caliber welcome experience for all guests. You will also be required to understand the steps of service and provide support where needed, outside of your responsibilities, to better assist in elevating the guest experience. This unique role will primarily serve our guests in a Host role while learning and filling in as the Bartender as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations:
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and ensure their comfort throughout their dining experience.
- Anticipate guest' needs and provide personalized service to enhance their overall satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Reservations Management:
- Respond to reservation inquiries, confirmations, and cancellations, adhering to restaurant policies and procedures.
- Regularly meeting with the BOH staff to maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and service protocols.
- Works with the GM to coordinate special events, private dining experiences, and exclusive tastings with precision and attention to detail.
- Extend personalized service to VIP guests, catering to their preferences and exceeding their expectations.
Bartending Duties may include:
- Prep batches for service
- Ensure all glassware is polished
- Garnishes are prepared
- Working in the service in a Bartender role
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
